Well, it's been a long time since I've posted anything. Sorry. My summer (after the dive trip to Lembeh, reported in earlier posts) was spent rehabing after knee surgery, and not much else.
School is now back in the swing of things for David and I, and Devin has started her graduate program in Library Studies (or some such title). So things will be pretty calm until a visit from my sister and a friend of hers in October.
But tonight we had some excitement in the house. For my weight lifting workouts, I use a fitness ball. And I suppose that since I weight about twice as much as the average Thai person, the fitness balls over here tend to lose air over time. So I pumped more air into my fitness ball tonight. Then I set it down and went to the computer to work on some stuff. All the sudden, "Kabooooom!" The fitness ball exploded! (And for you skeptics out there, I did not cause the fitness ball to pop by sitting on it.) Needless to say, it caused a sudden jump in heart rate for all three of us. Now I need a new one... Below is a picture of the remains of the fitness ball next to my treadmill.
